The 1991 edition of the annual Five Nations rugby union tournament ( Six Nations since 2000 ) took place on five game days between January 19 and March 16. The tournament winner was England , which made it to the Grand Slam for the ninth time with victories against all other participants , and the Triple Crown with victories against all British teams .
