The 1928 edition of the annual Five Nations rugby union tournament ( Six Nations since 2000 ) took place between January 2nd and April 9th. The tournament winner was England , which made the Grand Slam for the sixth time with victories against all other participants , and the Triple Crown with victories against all British teams .
