Jonathan Davies (born April 5, 1988 in Solihull , England ) is a Welsh rugby union player who plays on the inner three-quarter position for the Scarlets .

Davies began his rugby career at Llanelli RFC , where he was active until 2006. He then switched to Scarlet's regional selection, for which he appeared for the first time in August of that year. In 2007 he made his first attempt as a professional player. In 2009 he made his national team debut on the Welsh Tour to North America, which missed many players due to the British and Irish Lions tour .
