Greig David Laidlaw (born October 12, 1985 in Edinburgh ) is a Scottish rugby union player who is used on the position of the scrum half . He plays for the Scottish national team and for the top 14 team ASM Clermont Auvergne . Greig Laidlaw is 1.76 m tall and weighs 80 kg.

life and career

The nephew of the legendary Scottish scrum half, Roy Laidlaw , began his career at Edinburgh Rugby in the summer of 2006. After initially having to stand behind Scottish international and scrum half Mike Blair and only having a very limited use, he was finally able to assert himself and was in the year In 2011 he was even the captain of his team, which also led him into the 2013/14 season . In 2014 Laidlaw moved to the English rugby club Gloucester RFC and in 2017 to the French rugby club ASM Clermont Auvergne.
