Sam Kennedy-Warburton OBE (born October 5, 1988 in Cardiff ) is a Welsh rugby union player who is used on the position of the winger . He plays for the Cardiff Blues .

Warburton began his career with the Glamorgan Wanderers . In 2007 he was named the best player in the Welsh Premier Division . As captain of the Welsh U-19 national team, he reached the semi-finals of the World Cup in this age group that same year. Since 2008 he has been playing for the Blues, with whom he won the EDF Energy Cup and advanced to the semi-finals of the Heineken Cup . In June 2009 he made his debut for the men's national team against the United States .
