Morgan Lloyd Stoddart (born September 23, 1984 in Trealaw , Rhondda Cynon Taf , Glamorgan ) is a Welsh rugby union player . He's active for the Scarlets .

Stoddart began his career with Treorchy RFC in the Welsh Premier Division . After the club was relegated, he moved to the Pontypridd RFC . With Pontypridd he won the Welsh Cup in 2006 and was then transferred to the Scarlets . In his first season he was still mainly used in the Welsh league for the Llanelli RFC , but soon prevailed with the Scarlets.

In November 2007 Stoddart was accepted into the ranks of the national team for the first time, the opponent was the newly crowned world champion South Africa . He also made his first attempt in his first international match .
