The AEGON Trophy 2011 was a tennis tournament that took place from April 10th to 18th, 2011 in Nottingham . It was a tournament of the ATP Challenger Tour 2011 and part of the Nottingham Tennis Festival , which also included the Aegon Nottingham Challenge . The game was played outdoors on grass.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. For the individual competition there was a qualifying round with 16 players, through which four players could qualify for the main field. The prize money for the event totaled 64,000 euros, an increase of 12,500 euros over the previous year.

The winner of the individual competition was the unseeded Luxembourger Gilles Müller , who won the final against the seventh seeded German Matthias Bachinger in two sets. It was Müller's sixth individual title at the Challenger level and the first of the season. The Lithuanian Ričardas Berankis , who was victorious in the previous year, did not defend his title this year.

In the doubles competition, Colin Fleming managed to defend his title from the previous year. Together with his partner Ross Hutchins this year, he won the final against third-placed Germans Dustin Brown and Martin Emmrich . Fleming's partner from the previous year, Ken Skupski and his new partner Carsten Ball were in second position and failed in the quarter-finals. It was Fleming's ninth career title in a double competition in the Challenger category and the second in the 2011 season. For Hutchins it was the sixth Challenger double title of his career and his first tournament win of the season. It was the first joint victory for the two Britons.
