The Tallahassee Tennis Challenger 2011 was the twelfth edition of the Tallahassee hard court tennis tournament . It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2011 and was held from April 9th to 16th, 2011.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. For the individual tournament, a qualifying round with 26 participants took place in advance, in which four players were able to qualify for the main field. The event's total prize pool was $ 50,000.

In the run-up to the fourth placed US American Ryan Sweeting had to give up his place because he was late for the tournament. For him, the Australian Joseph Sirianni moved into the main field as a lucky loser . The winner of the individual competition was US American Donald Young , who was in seventh place and defeated his compatriot and qualifier Wayne Odesnik in three sets in the final. It was Young's fifth Challenger title in his career. Last year's winner Brian Dabul from Argentina retired in fifth place in the round of 16.

In the doubles competition, the third-placed Canadian-US pair consisting of Vasek Pospisil and Bobby Reynolds prevailed against the unseeded Gō Soeda from Japan and James Ward from Great Britain. This was Pospisil's fifth win in a Challenger category doubles tournament of his career. For Reynolds it was already the second title at the tournament in Tallahassee and the 19th double title on the ATP Challenger Tour. It was their first joint tournament success. Last year's winners Stephen Huss and Joseph Sirianni from Australia did not defend their title in this constellation. While Huss decided not to take part, Sirianni and this year's partner Fritz Wolmarans from South Africa were eliminated in the first round.
