The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. For the individual competition there was a qualifying round with 16 players, through which four players could qualify for the main field. As in the previous year, the total prize money for the event was US $ 50,000.

The Frenchman Édouard Roger-Vasselin was the winner of the single competition as well as the double competition . In the individual, he defeated the German Matthias Bachinger, who was seeded in second place, in three sets in sixth place . He also had to face Bachinger in the final in doubles. Seeded in third position, he and the Slovak Karol Beck won against the German pairing of Bachinger and Frank Moser, who were seeded in second position . It was Roger-Vasselin's third single and twelfth double title at Challenger level of his career and the first of each season. For Beck it was already the 20th challenger title in doubles of his career and also the first of the season. It was their first joint title.

Last year's winner in the singles, Tobias Kamke , as well as the double pairing of Frederik Nielsen and Joseph Sirianni , who won the previous year, did not defend the title this year.
