The Heilbronn Open 2011 was a tennis tournament that took place from January 23 to 30, 2011 in Talheim near Heilbronn . It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2011 and the Head German Masters Series 2011 and was played indoors on hard court.

The winner in the singles was the unseeded Bastian Knittel , who defeated the sixth seeded Daniel Brands in the final in two sets, each of which was decided in a tie-break. It was Knittel's first victory on the ATP Challenger Tour . Defending champion Michael Berrer failed this year in the quarter-finals at the later finalist Brands.

In doubles, the unseeded Jamie Delgado and Jonathan Marray were victorious in the final against the third-placed Frank Moser and David Škoch . It was the British’s first joint Challenger title. For Delgado it was also the ninth and for Marray the twelfth career title in doubles on the Challenger Tour.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. There were two cancellations in the run-up to the tournament. Julian Reister , who was in seventh place , did not compete in the individual. For him, Dieter Kindlmann moved into the main field. In doubles, the pairing Igor Sijsling / Marco Chiudinelli canceled their participation, so that James McGee and Colin O'Brien played as replacements.
