Michael Ryderstedt (born November 12, 1984 in Stockholm ) is a former Swedish tennis player .

Career

Ryderstedt was able to win three titles on the Challenger Tour , one in singles and two in doubles. In Grand Slam tournaments , he always failed in qualifying. Ryderstedt celebrated his greatest success on the ATP World Tour in 2008 at the tournament in Stockholm . Together with Johan Brunström he reached the final of the doubles competition, in which they were defeated by Jonas Björkman and Kevin Ullyett in two sets. Ryderstedt ended his career in October 2012.

He played a total of three games for the Swedish Davis Cup team in 2011 and 2012 . He lost all games, five in singles and one game in doubles. However, he played four of his five individual games against players from the top 20 of the ATP world rankings .
