Harri Heliövaara (born June 4, 1989 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish tennis player .
Career
Heliövaara started playing tennis at the age of six. In his junior career he won the doubles competition at the Australian Open in 2007 alongside Graeme Dyce . His best placement in the junior world rankings was 16th in January 2007. In the course of his professional career, Heliövaara was able to win a double title on the Challenger Tour . Together with Denys Moltschanow he won in Tashkent against John Paul Fruttero and Raven Klaasen in two tight sets. In Grand Slam tournaments , he did not qualify in singles or doubles. The same applies to singles on the World Tour , while he made his debut in doubles in the 2012 season at the tournament in Båstad .
Heliövaara interrupted his professional career in 2013 to study industrial engineering. In 2017 he got back into the tournament scene and won his second Challenger title in Båstad in 2018 in doubles after 2011.
He has been playing for the Finnish Davis Cup team since 2008 and so far has a record of 13:16.
