The winner of the individual competition was the fourth-placed Argentinian Leonardo Mayer . He won the final against unset Serb Nikola Ćirić in straight sets. It was Mayer's sixth individual title at Challenger level and his third title of the season.
The doubles competition won the top seeded Brazilian-Spanish pairing consisting of Franco Ferreiro and Rubén Ramírez Hidalgo . They defeated the unseeded Portuguese Gastão Elias and Frederico Gil in the match tie-break in the final . It was Ferreiro's 19th title in doubles in a Challenger tournament and the fourth of the season, all of which he won in Brazilian tournaments. However, his partner was André Sá , with Hidalgo it was his first title. For this it was also the 20th career title in doubles on the Challenger Tour and fifth of the season. It was their first ever joint title win.
In the run-up to the tournament, there was an injury-related cancellation. Iván Navarro was unable to take part in the doubles tournament with his partner Alex Kuznetsov because he had an injury to his left arm. As a substitute, individual finalists Nikola Ćirić and Goran Tošić could take part in the main round of the doubles competition.
