The Marburg Open 2011 was a tennis tournament that took place from June 21 to 27, 2011 in Marburg . It was the second edition of the tournament and part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2011 and the HEAD German Masters Series . The game was played outdoors on red sand.

In the singles the unseeded Björn Phau prevailed against Jan Hájek in three sets in the final . Phau was also successful in doubles alongside his partner Martin Emmrich . The pairing, seeded in 4th position, won the final against the unseeded Argentines Federico Delbonis and Horacio Zeballos .

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. There were three injury-related withdrawals in the run-up to the tournament. Yevgeny Korolev canceled his participation in the individual competition, citing physical weakness as the reason. For him, Simon Stadler moved into the main field as a lucky loser . In the doubles competition, Ivo Minář , who wanted to play at the side of the single finalist Hájek due to a hip injury and Adrian Ungur , whose partner was Albert Ramos , could not participate due to an elbow injury. The pairings Sjarhej Betau / Andriej Kapaś and Radu Albot / Artem Smyrnow played for them .
