In the following year Mazukevich again succeeded in Moscow qualifying for the main field of the individual competition, where he was eliminated against his compatriot Marat Safin . Two weeks later he received a wildcard for the individual field in St. Petersburg and celebrated his first win on the World Tour against Igor Kunitsyn . In the second round he clearly had to admit defeat to Philipp Kohlschreiber 1: 6, 1: 6. In 2008 he was in Amersfoort in both the singles and doubles main field, but only survived the first round in doubles. In August Mazukevich celebrated his first title win on the Challenger Tour. In Samarqand he won the double competition on the side of Irakli Labadze . Thanks to repeated successes on the Future Tour, he returned to the top 300 in the world in doubles in the following years. In May 2016 he won the double title in Samarqand for the second time . This time he and Andrej Wassileuski prevailed against the four seeded duo Hsieh Cheng-peng and Yang Tsung-hua in three sets. Subsequently, he only won five double titles on the Future Tour, which is why he is now only around 800th in the world rankings in both singles and doubles.
