Yevgeny Kirillov started playing tennis at the age of six. At the US Open in 2005 he made it to the semifinals after making his best combined ranking with 15th place in the junior world rankings .
On the professional tour, Kirillow mainly played in the lower class tournaments of the ITF Future Tour and ATP Challenger Tour . He was able to win a total of seven single and four double titles on the Future Tour. On the Challenger Tour, his greatest success was winning the individual competition in Fargʻona . In addition, he was able to record five successes in doubles.
On the ATP World Tour in 2011 in Eastbourne, after successfully qualifying, he made it into the main draw of the individual competition. There he met Kei Nishikori in the first round , to whom he lost in straight sets. In both singles and doubles, his best placement was around 200th place. He has not played a tournament since April 2015 and is listed as inactive by the ATP.
