Alexander Wladimirowitsch Krasnoruzki ( Russian Александр Владимирович Красноруцкий ; English transcription Alexandre Vladimirovich Krasnoroutskiy ; born March 17, 1987 in Kerch , Ukrainian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a one- player former Russian tennis player .

Career

Krasnoruzki successfully played tournaments on the Junior Tour and took part in the French Open in 2004 and 2005 . In 2007 he entered the Summer Universiade during his studies , where he won the silver medal twice - in doubles with Pavel Chekhov and in mixed competition with Alissa Kleibanova .

In 2003 he played his first tournaments on the Profi Tour. He won his first title two years later on the low-class ITF Future Tour . There he won a total of 18 titles, all of them in doubles. His breakthrough in singles did not succeed, his best placement was a 705th place in July 2006. He was more successful in doubles. At the beginning of 2007 he made it into the top 300 of the world rankings for the first time . Two months later he won his first title on the ATP Challenger Tour at the side of his compatriot Alexander Kudrjawzew . He left this in September in Ljubljana and Banja Luka two more episodes, so that he reached his career high in October with 156th place.

Krasnoruzki continued his good performances in 2008. At the Challenger tournaments in Fargʻona and Saransk , he failed in the final, in Almaty and Cherkassy he won the final and celebrated two more double titles. After his last title, he entered two tournaments and then paused for four years. He only returned to the tour in 2012 and, with the exception of the Challenger in Tyumen, only played future tournaments. In 2014 he ended his active career as a professional tennis player.

Private

His sister Lina Krasnoruzkaja was also a professional tennis player. In 2003 she lost the mixed final with Daniel Nestor at the US Open and in 2004 she was 25th in singles and 22nd in doubles in the world rankings.
