The Open de Rennes 2011 was a tennis tournament that took place from October 10th to 16th, 2011 in Rennes , France . As part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2011, it was the sixth edition of the tournament and was played indoors on a hard court.

The winner of the individual competition was Julien Benneteau , who was ranked third , who defeated Olivier Rochus , who was one position lower, in two sets. It was Benneteau's second title of the season and his first title at Challenger level since 2004. Last year's winner Marc Gicquel did not defend his title this year.

In doubles, the unset pairing consisting of Martin Emmrich and Andreas Siljeström won . They defeated the also unseeded Kenny de Schepper and Édouard Roger-Vasselin in two sets. So they stayed without losing a set during the entire tournament. It was the third Challenger title of the season for this pairing and their fifth joint title overall. It was also the eighth career title for Emmrich and the fifth for Siljeström. Last year's winners Scott Lipsky and David Martin did not take part in the tournament this year.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs.
