Career

In 2012, Brugués Davi set a new record when he took 40 consecutive victories on the ITF Future Tour , winning eight future tournaments in a row. He exceeded the previous record of Eduardo Schwank , who had 39 consecutive wins. On May 13, 2012, in the final of a Turkish future tournament, his series came to an end after 44 wins in a row. During this time, Brugués Davi also won his first tournament on the ATP Challenger Tour in Pensa, Russia . He won both the singles final against Mikhail Kukuschkin and in doubles alongside Malek Jaziri .
