The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. For the individual tournament, a qualifying round with 32 participants took place in advance, in which four players were able to qualify for the main field. The total prize money for the event was 30,000 euros.
Due to a flu, the top seeded German Denis Gremelmayr had to cancel his participation in the individual competition. It was won by the unseeded Russian Yevgeny Donskoi , who won the final against the seventh-placed Italian Alessio di Mauro in three sets. This was the first single Challenger title in his career.
In the doubles competition, the unsettled Spanish pairing consisting of Guillermo Alcaide and Adrián Menéndez prevailed in the final against the top seeded Leonardo Tavares from Portugal and Simone Vagnozzi from Italy in two sets. This was the first title for both of them in a double tournament in the Challenger category of their careers.
