Anas Fattar (born May 12, 1987 ) is a Moroccan tennis player .

Career

Fattar showed his talent on the Junior Tour and made it to 61st place in the junior ranking list. In 2005 he was once at Wimbledon in singles and doubles in the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament .

In his first year as a pro, Fattar finished in the top 1000 in the world singles ranking after getting some good results on the ITF Future Tour . In 2007 he made his debut on the next higher ATP Challenger Tour . By some wild cards in Moroccan tournaments, he came there in doubles to his first two quarter-finals. In the world rankings, he climbed into the top 700 by the end of the year. From 2006 to 2010 the Moroccan won one future title each in doubles (two titles in 2009), while in singles he was only able to reach a final once - in 2008 . A little later that year he also reached his career high in singles with place 599, where he could not win a single match at the Challenger level. Fattar was somewhat successful in doubles. In August 2010 it was the highest at 455th place.

Although he fell out of the top 1000 in 2011, he made his debut for the Moroccan Davis Cup team this year and has a 2-2 record there in two appearances. In addition, he played his only matches on the ATP World Tour in 2011 and 2012 in Casablanca thanks to a wildcard , which were lost in the first round.
