The Relyaid Natomas Racquet Club Challenger 2011 ( spelling : RelyAid Natomas Racquet Club Challenger ) was a tennis tournament that took place from October 1st to 9th, 2011 in Sacramento . It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2011 and was played outdoors on hard courts.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. There was a qualifying round with 16 players and four doubles for both the singles competition and the doubles competition, through which four players could qualify for the main field in singles and a pairing in doubles. As in the previous year, the prize money for the event totaled US $ 100,000.

The winner of the individual competition was the Croatian Ivo Karlović , who was in second place . He won the final against top seeded local hero James Blake in three sets. It was Karlović's fifth title at Challenger level and his first in this division of the season.

The doubles competition won the unseeded Australians Carsten Ball and Chris Guccione . In the final they defeated the wildcard owner Nicholas Monroe , who had failed in the final with Donald Young the year before , and Jack Sock in the match tie-breaker . It was Ball's 14th title in doubles on the second-rate ATP Challenger Tour. It was also his third tournament win of the season. For Guccione it was the tenth Challenger title of his career and the second season, both of which he won with ball. The South African pairing of Rik De Voest and Izak van der Merwe , which was victorious last year , did not appear in this formation to defend their title. Van der Merwe and his partner Treat Conrad Huey this year lost in the first round against the eventual winners.

In the run-up to the tournament, Fernando González had to cancel his participation in the individual competition. For him, Jamie Baker moved into the main field as the lucky loser .
