The Marburg Open 2010 was a tennis tournament that took place from June 21 to 27, 2010 in Marburg . It was the first edition of the tournament and part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2010 and the HEAD German Masters Series . The game was played outdoors on clay.

In the individual, the unseeded Simone Vagnozzi prevailed against Ivo Minář in three sets in the final . The doubles competition won the unset Denis Gremelmayr and Matthias Bachinger , who won the final against the also unset Guillermo Olaso and Grega Žemlja in straight sets.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. There were two injury-related withdrawals in the run-up to the tournament. Dominik Meffert , placed seventh, canceled his participation in the individual competition due to a shoulder injury. For him, Conor Niland moved into the main field as a lucky loser . Cedrik-Marcel Stebe injured his waist before the first round of the doubles competition and therefore withdrew his single participation, his replacement was Ilya Belyayev .
