The McDonald's Burnie International 2010 was the eighth edition of the hard court tennis tournament in Burnie . It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2010 and was held outdoors from February 1st to 7th, 2010.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. For the individual competition there was a qualifying round with 16 players, through which four players could qualify for the main field. The event's total prize pool was $ 50,000.

The winner of the individual competition was Australian qualifier Bernard Tomic , who defeated his seventh-placed compatriot Greg Jones in two sets in the final. It was Tomic's second career singles Challenger title and the first of the season.

In doubles, the unseed Australians Matthew Ebden and Samuel Groth won the final against their also unseeded compatriots James Lemke and Dane Propoggia in a competitive game after two sets decided in the tie-break, ultimately in the match tie-break . While it was Ebden's first double success at a Challenger tournament, Groth was able to celebrate his fourth success in this category. It was also his second success at Burnie.
