The IPP Open 2010 was a tennis tournament that took place in Helsinki from November 22nd to 28th, 2010 . As part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2010 , it was the tenth edition of the tournament and was played indoors on a hard court.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. In the run-up, there was a qualifying round for the individual tournament, in which four starting places were awarded from 16 participants. As in the previous year, the prize money for the event totaled 106,500 euros.

The winner of the individual competition was the unseeded Lithuanian Ričardas Berankis , who defeated the second-placed Polish compatriot Michał Przysiężny in the final. He benefited from a back injury to his opponent, who was forced to give up when the score was 6: 1, 1: 0. It was Berankis' second Challenger- level single title and his first title of the season. Last year's winner Dmitri Tursunow did not defend his title this year.

The doubles competition was won by the last German pairing of Dustin Brown and Martin Emmrich . In the final, they defeated the local wildcard owners Henri Kontinen and Jarkko Nieminen in a match tie-break , who were able to advance to the final last year. It was Brown's eighth career title in doubles, seven of which he celebrated at Challenger level and one on the ATP Tour . It was also his seventh title of the season. For Emmrich it was the fifth double success in his career, all of which he won on the ATP Challenger Tour, and his third this year. It was their first and so far only joint title. Last year's winners Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi did not take part in the tournament this year.

In the run-up to the tournament there were two cancellations due to injuries. The Slovak Karol Beck , who was placed fifth , and the Indian Somdev Devvarman , who was seeded eight , withdrew their participation. For this, Petru-Alexandru Luncanu and Timo Nieminen moved into the main field as lucky losers .
