Antony Dupuis (born February 24, 1973 in Bayonne ) is a former French tennis player .

Career

In his career, Dupuis won one title each in singles and doubles. He won the tournament in the individual on February 7, 2004, when he defeated Mario Ančić in the final in Milan 6: 4, 6: 7 and 7: 6. In 2001 he lost to Jiří Novák in the Munich final .

He achieved his double victory in 2004 in Long Island together with Michaël Llodra with a 6: 2, 6: 4 final victory over the Swiss Yves Allegro and the German Michael Kohlmann .

Dupuis achieved his best placement in the world rankings in September 2001 when he was listed at position 57.

In 2006 his career was overshadowed by a drug scandal. He was found guilty of taking salbutamol and was banned for two and a half months. He was also fined $ 30,540.
