The Seguros Bolívar Open Pereira 2010 was a tennis tournament that took place from April 12th to 18th, 2010 in Pereira . It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2010 , as well as the Seguros Bolívar Open tournament series , which was held in different categories in different Colombian cities. The game was played outdoors on clay.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. For the individual competition there was a qualifying round with 16 players, through which four players could qualify for the main field. The event totaled $ 50,000 in prize money, $ 15,000 more than when it was first held a year earlier.

The winner of the individual competition was the top seeded local hero Santiago Giraldo , who won in two sets against the second seeded Italian Paolo Lorenzi in the final . It was Giraldo's seventh single title at the Challenger level and the first of the season. The Colombian Alejandro Falla , who was victorious last year, did not defend his title this year.

The doubles competition also won the top seeded pairing, which consisted of the German Dominik Meffert and the Austrian Philipp Oswald . In the final they defeated the unseeded Germans Gero Kretschmer and Alexander Satschko after two contested sets in the match tie-break . It was Meffert's fourth career title in a double competition in the Challenger category and the second in the 2010 season. For Oswald it was the sixth Challenger double title of his career and also his second win of the season. It was their first joint victory. The defending champions Víctor Estrella and João Souza no longer competed together. While Estrella did not take part in the tournament at all, Souza and this year's partner Leonardo Tavares failed in second place in the first round.
