The Seguros Bolívar Open Pereira 2009 was a tennis tournament that took place from April 27 to May 3, 2010 in Pereira . As the first edition of the tournament it was part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2009 as well as the Seguros Bolívar Open series , which was held in different Colombian cities in different categories. The game was played outdoors on clay.

The winner of the individual competition was the fifth seed local hero Alejandro Falla , who won the final against the top seeded Argentine Horacio Zeballos in three sets. It was Falla's fourth single title at the Challenger level and the first of the season. The Dominican Víctor Estrella , who won last year, did not defend his title this year.

The doubles competition won the second seeded pairing of Dominican Víctor Estrella and Brazilian João Souza , who defeated the top seeded Colombians Alejandro Falla , who was already successful in the individual competition, and Juan Sebastián Cabal in the final in two sets. It was the first career title at a tournament in the Challenger category for both winners.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. For the individual competition there was a qualifying round with 16 players, through which four players could qualify for the main field. The event totaled $ 35,000 in prize money.
