The 2009 LA Tennis Open Challenger was a tennis tournament that took place in Carson from May 23-31, 2009 . It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2009 and was played outdoors on hard courts. It was the second tournament in the series at the same location after the Home Depot Center USTA Challenger .
