The Nord / LB Open 2010 was a tennis tournament that took place from June 29th to July 4th, 2010 in Braunschweig . It was the 17th edition of the tournament and part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2010 and the Head German Masters Series 2010 . The game was played outdoors on clay.

The individual competition was won by Michail Kukuschkin , who was seeded in eighth place , and who defeated Marcos Daniel , who was seeded in fifth, in the final by giving up in the third set. It was the 5th Challenger title of his career. Last year's winner Óscar Hernández did not defend the title this year. In doubles, the fourth seeded Leonardo Tavares and Simone Vagnozzi prevailed in the final against the unseeded Igor Kunizyn and Juri Schchukin . It was their first and so far only joint tournament success. For Tavares it was the third Challenger double title of the season and fourth overall, for Vagnozzi already the ninth of his career and the second of the season. Last year's winners, Johan Brunström and Jean-Julien Rojer , no longer competed together. Brunström and his new partner Mischa Zverev were eliminated in the first round.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. In the run-up, there was an injury-related cancellation. The top seeded Pablo Cuevas could not compete due to a back injury. For him, Marsel İlhan moved into the main field - seeded in ninth place .
