life and career

Until 2003: Junior career and first professional tournaments

Marco Crugnola competed in various international junior tournaments in 2000 and 2001 and was able to win a title in doubles. From 2002 Crugnola competed in satellite and future tournaments and was able to collect first world ranking points there in 2003 .

2004–2007: Successes in future and challenger tournaments

In 2004 Marco Crugnola decided to pursue a career as a professional tennis player. In September 2005 he won his first future title in Italy. The next future title followed in Great Britain in May 2006, and Crugonal was also able to reach the quarter-finals in several Challenger tournaments this year and rose to 323th place in the world rankings by the end of the year. In March 2007, Marco Crugnola was in Sarajevo for the first time in a Challenger semifinals.
