Jesse Levine (born October 15, 1987 in Ottawa ) is a retired Canadian - American tennis player .

Career

Levine was able to celebrate seven tournament successes on the Challenger Tour , five of them in singles and two in doubles. He won all individual titles on US soil. On the World Tour he reached the finals in Houston together with Ryan Sweeting , but they were defeated by Bob and Mike Bryan 1: 6, 2: 6. In Grand Slam tournaments he survived the first round several times, but in Roland Garros he was never able to qualify for the main field. His best placement in the ATP world rankings was position 69 on October 1, 2012.

After a prolonged elbow injury, he retired in 2014. At the beginning of the 2016 season, he was the coach of Madison Keys for a few months .

Born in Canada, Jesse Levine moved to the United States at the age of 13 , for which he competed on the ATP World Tour until 2012. Jesse Levine has been competing for his native Canada since the 2013 season .
