Sekou Bangoura (born November 18, 1991 in Bradenton ) is an American tennis player .

Career

Sekou Bangoura mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . So far, he has celebrated two single and eight double victories on the Future Tour.

He made his first appearance on the ATP World Tour in doubles together with Nathan Pasha at the US Open in September 2010. Here, the two clearly lost their opening game against Michael Kohlmann and Jarkko Nieminen in two sets. He made his next appearance on the World Tour alongside Vahid Mirzadeh at the Delray Beach Open in February 2014. Here they surprisingly won their first round game against Eric Butorac and Raven Klaasen in a match tie-break , before they passed Sam in the quarter-finals Groth and Max Mirny failed.

In September 2019 he won his first double title at Challenger Level at the side of Michael Mmoh in Cary .
