Vahid Mirzadeh (born December 28, 1986 in Lake Worth ) is a retired American tennis player .

Career

Vahid Mirzadeh mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . So far he has celebrated seven double victories on the Future Tour. On July 15, 2013, he broke through the top 200 in the world rankings in doubles for the first time and his highest ranking was a 169th place in October 2013.

He made his first appearance on the World Tour level in doubles together with Phillip Simmonds , with whom he formed a doubles pair, at the US Open in September 2004. The two clearly lost their opening game against Brian Baker and Rajeev Ram in two sets. He made his next appearance on the World Tour at the side of Sekou Bangoura , with whom he formed a pair, at the Delray Beach Open in Delray Beach in February 2014. They surprisingly won their first round game against Eric Butorac and Raven Klaasen in the Champions- Tie-break before the two failed in the quarterfinals to Samuel Groth and Max Mirny .
