The ATP Challenger Chennai (official name: "Chennai Open" ) is a tennis tournament in Chennai , India , which was held in 2014 for the first time. After pausing from 2015 to 2017, it was added back to the calendar in 2018. A tournament took place at the same location as early as 1996. It is part of the ATP Challenger Tour and is played outdoors on hard courts. Yuki Bhambri won singles and doubles in the first edition and is therefore the only multiple winner.
