Jean-René Lisnard (born September 25, 1979 in Cannes ) is a former Monaco tennis player . He played under the French flag until the end of 2005 , in 2006 he took the citizenship of Monaco and played for Monaco until 2013.
Lisnard played mainly on the Future and Challenger Tour . In singles and doubles, he won two titles each on the Challenger Tour. In 1999 he took part in the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time thanks to a wildcard . He did not get past the first round at the French Open against Sargis Sargsian . His best result in a Grand Slam tournament, he achieved in 2005 at Wimbledon , when he was able to move into the third round. So far, he is the only Monegasse, albeit with French roots, to win a main round match at a Grand Slam tournament.
Lisnard played from 2007 for the Monegasque Davis Cup team . In eleven missions he played 24 games. Both in singles with 12: 5 and in doubles with 4: 3, his balance is positive. He was never appointed to the French Davis Cup team.
