Tom Bergeron (born May 6, 1955 in Haverhill , Massachusetts ) is an American presenter and author .

Life

Tom Bergeron was born to Catherine and Raymond Bergeron. He has Canadian , Irish and French ancestry.

Bergeron first worked as a DJ in his hometown Haverhill. Then he started working as a moderator.

In 2009 his first book, I'm Hosting as Fast as I Can: Zen and the Art of Staying Sane, was published in Hollywood . Since 2005 he has hosted the famous dance show Dancing with the Stars , for which he received an Emmy in 2012 .

Bergeron has been married to his wife Lois since 1982. He lives in Hartford, Connecticut .

From February to March 2020, Bergeron took part as a taco in the third season of the US offshoot of The Masked Singer and reached 13th of a total of 18 places.
