Adrian Andreew (born May 12, 2001 in Sofia ) is a Bulgarian tennis player .

Career

Andreew mainly plays on the Junior Tour. He is eligible to play there until the end of 2019. His greatest success there is winning the Eddie Herr ITF tournament , a tournament in the third highest tournament category. He is currently ranked 25th in the junior ranking, his best ranking dates back to January 1, 2018, when he was 23rd. At the beginning of 2018, he played a Junior Grand Slam tournament in Australia for the first time .

Andreew still played a few professional tournaments: For the first time in 2016, when he was 15 years old, he was also able to win a professional match for the first time and so far only. As a result, he was also led in the world ranking . In February 2018, he received a wildcard for the individual competition in his hometown of Sofia , making him the first player born in 2001 or younger to be in an ATP main field. Against Denis Istomin he lost straight in two sets. He is currently no longer in the world rankings.
