Wassil Schandarow (born July 14, 1991 in Sofia ) is a Bulgarian tennis player .

Career

Radoslaw Schandarow played his first professional tournament on the ITF Future Tour in 2008 . Then he hardly played any tournaments until he played some futures with his younger brother Radoslaw (* 1996) between 2013 and 2017 . They could only win two matches. Unlike his brother, Wassil also played a few singles matches in 2014 and 2015, but was never able to win more than one match. Since the end of 2015, he has not entered any other individual tournaments.

In February 2018 he and his brother got a place at the ATP World Tour tournament in Sofia in the doubles competition. They moved up at short notice as a substitute for another pairing (Alternates) and lost significantly in the first round in two sets against Maximilian Marterer and João Sousa . In the world rankings he was in 1445 thanks to a future semi-final in doubles at the end of 2017, and in singles he was once 1603 in 2015.
