Mark Merklein (born June 28, 1972 in Freeport ) is a former Bahamian tennis player .

Career

Merklein was especially successful in doubles. With various partners he won four titles on the ATP Tour and reached 37th place on January 12, 2004, his highest place in the double world rankings. He also stood in three other finals. In Grand Slam tournaments , the round of 16 at the Australian Open 2003 was his best result. In the Davis Cup he won 15 of 27 matches, eight in doubles and seven in singles.
