Hugo Armando (born May 27, 1978 in Miami ) is a retired American tennis player .

Career

Hugo Armando began his career in 1997. On the Challenger Tour , he won five titles in singles and twelve more in doubles during his career. He was also able to celebrate successes on the ATP World Tour , mainly in doubles. With Xavier Malisse he won the doubles competition in Delray Beach in 2007 . With 6: 3, 6: 7 and [10: 5] they defeated James Auckland and Stephen Huss in the final. He achieved his best placement in the doubles world rankings immediately after this tournament victory with 85th place. In singles he made it to 100th place on August 6, 2001. In Grand Slam tournaments he did not get past the first round in singles or doubles .

In 2008 Hugo Armando ended his career.
