Otto Morales Benítez
Otto Morales Benítez (born August 7, 1920 in Riosucio ; † May 23, 2015 in Bogotá ) was a Colombian lawyer and politician .
Morales Benítez was the director of Colombiano magazine and is known for his literary reviews . He was a lecturer at the Pontifical University of Bolivariana and other universities, was a member of the Colombian Parliament and from 1960 to 1961 Colombia's Minister of Agriculture.
In 2010, Morales Benítez was nominated for the Prince of Asturias Prize by the Academia Colombiana de la Lengua .
The Centro Otto Morales Benítez in Bogotá is named after him.
