Premier Trophy 2011/12

The 2011/12 Premier Trophy was the 72nd season of the national first-class cricket competition in Sri Lanka . The winner was the Colts Cricket Club , which won its 6th Premier Trophy.

The 20 teams are divided into two divisions, each with ten teams, in which everyone plays against each other once. For a win, a team received twelve points, should it be a win with an innings lead. 14. If no result is achieved and the game ends in a draw, the results after the first innings count. There are eight points for a win and six points for a draw and none in the event of a loss. The first placed in group A is the winner of the tournament.
