Juan Pablo Guzmán (born January 29, 1981 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine tennis player . Since mid-2015 he has been listed as inactive by the ATP.

Career

Juan Pablo Guzmán won a total of 18 titles in his career. He achieved a double title on the ATP World Tour . He won the remaining titles in singles and doubles on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . He won his only title on the World Tour in Amersfoort in 2007 when he and Juan Pablo Brzezicki won 6: 2, 6: 0 against the duo Robin Haase and Rogier Wassen . In his four Grand Slam participations in 2002 and 2007, he never got past the first round. Juan Pablo Guzmán played in the tennis Bundesliga in 2004 and 2005 for TK Kurhaus Aachen . Here he was German runner-up in team tennis in the 2005 season . In 2007 and 2008 he competed for the Rochusclub Düsseldorf .
