The ATP tournament in Düsseldorf (officially Düsseldorf Open , formerly Power Horse Cup ) was a German men's tennis tournament that was held in the Düsseldorf Rochus Club .

The competition was held for the first time in May 2013 and replaced the World Team Cup , which was removed from the tournament calendar due to dwindling audience interest.

The license for the tournament was bought by the former German tennis player Rainer Schüttler and the former manager of Boris Becker and tournament owner of the Madrid Masters , Ion Țiriac . Like the World Team Cup, it took place a week before the French Open and served as the last preparatory tournament for the Grand Slam tournament in Paris .

The tournament was discontinued for the 2015 season and replaced by the Geneva tournament .
