Daniel Elahi Galán Riveros (born June 18, 1996 in Bucaramanga ) is a Colombian tennis player .

Career

Galán mainly plays on the ITF Future Tour and the ATP Challenger Tour . So far, he has won two singles titles on the Future Tour in 2015.

In 2015 he made his debut on the ATP World Tour at the Claro Open Colombia in Bogotá with a wildcard . In the opening round he won against Pere Riba in two sets, before he lost against Ivo Karlović , who was seeded at one, 7: 6 (12:10), 1: 6, 3: 6. In July 2018 he won his first title on the Challenger Tour against Sergio Gutiérrez Ferrol in San Benedetto . With this success he achieved his best position in the world rankings with 166th place .

In 2018 he made his debut for the Colombian Davis Cup team .
