The AEGON Championships 2012 was a tennis tournament that took place from June 9th to 17th, 2012 at the Queen’s Club in London . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2012 and was played on grass. In the same week the Gerry Weber Open was played in Halle , which, like the AEGON Championships, belongs to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Defending champion in the singles was the top seeded Andy Murray , who had already lost his opening match against Nicolas Mahut . The winner was Marin Čilić , as his final opponent David Nalbandian was disqualified during the final game: Out of frustration over a lost point, he kicked a board behind which a linesman was sitting and injured it. In doubles, the brothers Bob and Mike Bryan were the defending champions, they reached the final again, where they had to admit defeat to world number one Max Mirny and Daniel Nestor . In Mirny's long career, this 45th career title was the first title win on grass.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 56 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 24 pairs. The 8 top seeded players in singles or pairings in doubles each received a bye into the second round.
