Liam Broady (born January 4, 1994 in Stockport ) is a British tennis player .

Career

In 2011 Broady reached the final at the junior tournament at Wimbledon , where he was defeated by the Australian Luke Saville . He reached number 2 in the junior world rankings.

Broady has won 3 singles and 12 doubles titles on the third-rate ITF Future Tour so far. In 2012 he received a wildcard for his first ATP World Tour main field at the AEGON Championships 2012 in the Queen's Club , where he lost to Gilles Müller in the first round . Also with a wildcard, he started with his doubles partner Oliver Golding in the same year in Wimbledon in the doubles competition. At its Grand Slam premiere , they lost their opening match. 2013 In his second appearance in a tournament of the World Tour Broady failed in qualifying in Eastbourne to Martín Alund in the second qualifying round.
