Bengt Jonasson
Bengt Jonasson is a Swedish pool player . He is a two-time European champion .
Career
At the 1980 European Championship , Jonasson became 8-ball European champion by beating his compatriot Sven Olaf Olsson in the final . A year later he only won the bronze medal, while Olsson was European champion. In 1982 Jonasson won the final against Björn Jonsson , in 1983 he lost to Olsson.
In 1993 Jonasson won his first Euro Tour medals. After losing to his compatriot Bengt Pedersen in the final of the Sweden Open , he was eliminated in the semi-finals of the Hungarian Open. In 1994 he won the bronze medal at the Austrian Open. In the same year he also reached the final of an EM for the last time in 9-Ball , but lost it to German Oliver Ortmann , who was able to successfully defend his title from the previous year.
