The Pool Championship 1982 was the European Pool Billiard Association EPBF in Gothenburg in Sweden oriented billiards competition .

The disciplines 8-ball and 14/1 were played out endlessly for the men and women.

Sweden won three of the four European championship titles, Ulf Hjalmvall and Bengt Jonasson in the men, Eva Eleholt in the women. The German Klara Lensing became European 8-ball champion and was the only one to successfully defend a title from the previous year . Edgar Nickel won the second medal for the German Billiards Association with bronze in 14/1 .
